For fastening lumber, battens and building boards indoors.
There are countersinking ribs under the head, that is the screw head countersinks into the material to be fastened.

Hobau screws are suitable, e.g. for fastening stone-material based boards (waterproofing boards, fireproofing boards) and various floor boards. They are also suitable, e.g. for fastening tongue-and-groove floorboards.

Hobau screws for various joints

The coarse-threaded Hobau screw for fastening to a wooden base or framework.

Use a fine-threaded Hobau screw when fastening to a steel frame. If the thickness of the steel frame or base is over 0.75 mm, use a drilling-point Hobau screw.
In wet rooms where the joint is exposed to water, use a stainless screw.
